My interest in dogs and training began at a young age, with me taking my first dog Bonnie the lovable rogue, to my local dog training classes when I was just 12 years old. Many years later, having worked in a variety of kennels and dog training environments, I have a vast amount of practical skills and training knowledge with dogs of various breeds and temperaments.
In 2014, I decided to take my love of dogs and training to the next level, starting my studies at Harper Adams University and graduating in 2018 achieving: Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Animal Behaviour and Welfare.
This degree is validated by The Association of the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB), as covering the theoretical requirements of their Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist accreditation.
With my own dogs I enjoy competing in agility and competitive obedience and I am the joint show secretary for Lichfield and District Dog Training Society’s annual Kennel Club licensed championship obedience show.
But by far the best part of having a canine companion is spending time exploring our beautiful countryside, both locally and further afield.

What Houndspeak offers
Social group walks
A walk in a group of no more than 3 dogs, carefully selected for temperament, size and age.
At Houndspeak we believe that social walks should be ones where manners are maintained and play is controlled, to ensure that each dog enjoys their walk. This is why we have no more than 3 dogs in one group, which allows interactions to be carefully monitored and general training regarding manners and recall, to be continued.
Walks for multiple dogs from one household can also be accommodated. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Houndspeak offer a home visit service with the focus being on mental stimulation.Visits to include:
